We manufacture & distribute ceramic & alumina bed supports, specialized refractory shapes, tower packing internals & ceramic heat exchange media for the global refining, chemical, & metals industries. POSITION SUMMARY
This Houston, Texas based position is primarily responsible for development and management of new and underdeveloped accounts. Development and implementation of proactive sales plans, increasing market share and increasing revenue and profitability are key to this role's success. This position will have minimal travel requirements to relevant industry venues and for training purposes.
Responsibilities
- Annual revenue forecast and strategy for accounts they are responsible for
- Manage time and activities to achieve revenue and other goals.
- Ongoing maintenance of key account data
- Timely sharing of relevant information on industry developments, trends, etc.
- Ongoing contributions to our competitor database
- Achievement of territory annual revenue goal
- Completion of quarterly accountabilities and special projects as they are assigned.
- Commitment to and plan for ongoing professional development and learning
- Work in collaboration with other Christy Catalytics team members to support customer ongoing requirements.
POSITION DETAILS
- Represents Christy Catalytics by being an "A" Player which is demonstrated by having a strong desire to achieve, belong and contribute at work in a way that aligns with Christy's high-performance goals. Have a positive attitude and provide courteous and professional service to internal and external clients, by responding promptly and efficiently to inquiries, requests and complaints.
- Responsible for maintaining and strengthening relationships between Christy Catalytics and accounts through, but not limited to, ongoing customer contact primarily via phone, email and virtual meetings.
- Continually maintaining relevant customer information in SalesForce.com and other documents.
- Follow an established sales structure / process to ensure client's needs are identified and fulfilled according to our ability to fulfill them.
- Develop and manage a productive sales pipeline as developed yearly with the sales leader and reevaluated monthly.
- Keep clients up to date on developments within Christy Catalytics e.g. new products, processes, etc.
- Ensures any uncovered client needs and/or problems are effectively communicated to the responsible managers at Christy and ensure follow up is completed in a timely
- Ability to professionally represent Christy Catalytics at industry venues. Ensure that all leads generated from these are followed up in a timely and complete manner.
- Stay up to date and current on competition, market trends and selling techniques; recommend and implement changes based on information learned to ensure continued
- Follows all required safety guidelines as outlined by Christy
- Protects company assets and confidential information in accordance with company policies and procedures. Including, but not limited to, client, team member and proprietary company

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree required
- Two plus years successful inside B2B technical sales required
- Valid U.S. driver's license required

Travel:
Limited (<10%) travel may be possible anywhere in the United States.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
This job works in our Houston, Texas office and routinely uses standard office equipment such as personal computers, copier/scanner/fax and mobile phones.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full - time position with hours of work typically Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 40 -45 hours per week, with an occasional night or weekend as requested from immediate supervisor.
